Welcome to Sean Taaffe Hair Academy by Aisling Madigan

The academy is situated at The Courtyard, Lewis Road, Killarney and is independently run. We specialise in delivering top quality education in small class sizes. Sean and Aisling believe that anyone with a desire and passion for hairdressing should be encouraged to pursue that dream. With that in mind the academy uses the professional examining authority The association of British and International Hairdressing Schools (recognised by the Hairdressing Council London), ITEC, VTCT to examine and certify all successful candidates..

Aisling Madigan is co founder, director and head tutor at the academy. She qualified in 2002 and has been with the Sean Taaffe Group since 2006. She has excelled in her career as a hairdresser and quickly moved up the ranks from being a stylist to becoming a stylist director.

Aisling’s work has featured in Irish Hairdresser Magazine. Her front cover work recently won the salons ‘Front of House Media Competition’. She is also a Keune educator and has done the Joico Cut and Colour Masterclass.

Aisling won the ‘Colour of the Year award’ at Connaught College of Hairdressing. Her passion for all aspects of hairdressing makes her the perfect person to mentor students and to guide them on their career from start to finish.
